FPRA’s 81st Annual Conference "We Are FPRA: PRoactive. PRincipled. PRofessionals." is a four-day conference of unparalleled professional development and networking for public relations professionals.

David Riggleman has been director of communications for the City of Las Vegas since 1999. During his tenure, the municipality’s public broadcast station has won numerous awards, including three Emmy Awards for outstanding community affairs programming and the 2002 Beacon Award for Best Station among U.S. government access channels. David serves as host of the Access City Council program, which highlights happenings from each of the city’s six wards. He was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame in August 2006. Prior to working for the city, he was conservation manager at the Southern Nevada Water Authority, where he directed the valley's water conservation efforts and programs from 1995 to 1999. David is a veteran of the news media, working as a television anchor, reporter and producer for twelve years. In Las Vegas, he was employed at KVBC-TV, Channel 3 (now KSNV-TV), from 1987 until 1995. He was named Conservation Communicator of the Year in 1991 by the Nevada Wildlife Federation. David graduated with distinction from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque and attended graduate school at the University of Oklahoma in Norman.
